On November 5, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners recognized the work being done by Unicorn Children's Foundation, as it celebrates its 25th Anniversary on November 22, 2019.
Unicorn Children's Foundation was established to affect worldwide change through a coordination of efforts among professionals, parents and policy makers so that every child with a communication, developmental or learning disorder is given the greatest opportunity to reach his or her full potential.
The BCC went on to recognize the UCF for afforesting cradle to career pathways for the one in five children who are diagnosed with communication, developmental or learning disabilities and providing support to their families.
