Day 3: National APSE Conference

Our CEO, Sharon Alexander is having a great Day 3 at the National APSE Conference! She enjoyed the final keynote speaker, and the Family Poolside Movie Event -snacks sponsored by FL APSE. It is such an honor to be a part of the awesome Florida APSE board representing at the National APSE conference!

Day 2: National APSE Conference

Day 2 sessions at the National APSE Conference are complete! Awesome keynote speaker shared her experiences living with autism. Lots of information on collaboration, helping businesses fill positions and increase diversity and cost savings to society through integrated and meaningful employment for individuals with diverse abilities.

Our CEO, Sharon Alexander has completed Day 1 of the National APSE Conference. Amazing connections working to create careers for individuals with unique abilities! She is looking forward to Day 2 today!

REST Master Training

REST “Master Training” is an evidence based training to provide quality respite care. Unicorn Children’s Foundation’s Program Operations Coordinator, Ivonne Rodriguez, is now one of two trainers in the state of Florida. Unicorn Children’s Foundation is always on the vanguard for better opportunities to serve families and individuals challenged with special needs.

20th Anniversary Family Cafe ​featuring the Governor’s Summit on Disabilities

On June 15 - 17, 2018, Mrs. Corporate America 2018, Rachel Arazashvili, represented Unicorn Children's Foundation at the 20th Anniversary Family Cafe ​featuring the Governor’s Summit on Disabilities. She helped promote our Creating Compassionate Children campaign at this event that has brought Floridians with all types of disabilities together for three days of information, training and networking opportunities.

We Met Our Goal!

Marathon Golf is an event where golfer Gary Collins plays holes of golf for one entire day until he can’t. This year he played 120 holes! Thanks to YOUR generosity, Unicorn Children's Foundation will continue to provide scholarships for Unicorn Village Academy. We reached our fundraising goal, and CMAA will match $5000!! We couldn't do it without you!!
