1 Hour Left...
1 hour left of the #GreatGive424 to make MAGIC happen!
Nothing is Impossible
When we all come together to change the world one cup of coffee at a time, nothing is impossible!
Wise words by Barbara Bush
Will you help someone thrive and grow to their capabilities?
Imagine...
Imagine if you turned 21 and were told that there are no opportunities for you to find meaning or purpose in your life…
Imagine if you were told:
• “You have no opportunity to interact with friends.”
• “There really aren’t many post-secondary programs for you unless you move. “
• “As an employer, I am unwilling to take a risk and give you a chance to show your value.”
Breaking News
BREAKING NEWS: One of our sponsors just informed us that with every $100 or more donation today, you will be entered to win a one-week trip for 2 to Hawaii!!! This includes round-trip airfare, one week hotel accommodations, plus $1000 cash! WOW!

They Need You!
Over 80% of individuals with special needs need YOU!
I Love Coffee!
Special Percs Café is a natural next step as we desire to create “careers” and not just “jobs” for members of our local community and promote a sense of accomplishment and “pride of self” in an underserved workforce.
Willing and Able, But No Opportunities
Imagine if you turned 21 and were told that there are no opportunities for you to find meaning or purpose in your life… Imagine if you were told:
- You have no opportunity to interact with friends.
- There really aren’t many post-secondary programs for you unless you move.
- As an employer, I am unwilling to take a risk and give you a chance to show your value.
This is the reality of over 80% of individuals with special needs. Following years of support and opportunities for meaningful engagement in the school system, young adults with special needs find themselves falling off a cliff on their 22nd birthday.
Your investment in the Special Percs CaféTM will be more than a favorite neighborhood coffee shop, it will train, teach and employ young people with special needs who want to work. Special Percs CaféTM will create a path for individuals with special needs to become more valued, accepted and included within the community through meaningful employment options in a competitive high-demand industry, as well as give their lives meaning and purpose one cup at a time in a space in the community where inclusion happens in a very natural way.
If human beings are perceived as potentials rather than problems, as possessing strengths instead of weaknesses, as unlimited rather that dull and unresponsive, then they thrive and grow to their capabilities. ~ Barbara Bush
We are striving to raise $250,000 to secure equipment, a location and job coaches for a barista training program and launch of this program to develop tax-payers rather than tax-burdens and provide their families with the comfort of knowing that their special loved one will have natural supports in the community.
With your support, you can create meaning and purpose in a person’s life while they serve kindness one cup at a time!
Special Percs CaféTM is a natural next step as we desire to create “careers” and not just “jobs” for members of our local community and promote a sense of accomplishment and “pride of self” in an underserved workforce.
