The Unicorn Children’s Foundation Clinics
What a great afternoon yesterday at the Mailman Segal Center for Human Development! Learning about the progress that has been made since Unicorn Children’s Foundation contributed $1,000,000 for an Endowed Chair in Communications and Learning Disorders. The Unicorn Children’s Foundation Clinics have now expanded to include: challenging behavior disorder clinic; feeding disorder clinic, and; a developmental assessment clinic. Excited about our conversations regarding potential ground breaking, collaborative opportunities. A very special thank you to the supporters from 2003-2008 who made this possible. You have so significantly impacted so many families lives.

Mental Health First Aider!
Congratulations to our Program Operations Coordinator, Ivonne Rodriguez, for becoming 1 of 24 new Mental Health First Aiders in our community this weekend!!!
Via Bonnie Kaye:
So this is what “compassionate community” looks like! It’s when two join in partnership — Broken Sound Club of Boca Raton, FL and Boca Raton's Promise — and invite community advocates and business influencers to help keep our greater Boca Raton healthier. Just as CPR training is critical in saving lives, so is Mental Health First Aid Training. Hosted by Broken Sound Club, presented by Boca Raton’s Promise and underwritten from funds generously donated by sponsors for BRP’s recent Artist-in-Residents Weekend...we now have 24 new Mental Health First Aiders in our community! Thank you to the following for spending eight hours with Jon and me with Rita Thrasher and certified MHFA trainers Ed Frontera and Cindy Wites on a Saturday to help save lives: Sal Saldana Sharon DiPietro, Allen B. Konis, Monica Houtz Mayotte Suzan Mellinger Garber Gwen TuckerBob TuckerMary Wong Kari Cares Arlene Herson Audra Simovitch Lisa Lisa Ramaglia Fuller Robin Hoffberger, Carol Boettcher, Sue Rogoff Mochtak Heller Theresa Agricola, Randy Hoffer, Travis Bryan, Laura Weiner Zerbo Ivonne Rodriguez
