Unicorn Children's Foundation receives Wells Fargo 2014 Community Connections Grant to support financial literacy programs for Unicorn Village Academy students.

Employment Opportunity

Full Charge Bookkeeper (Full Time)

Full cycle accounting and finance expertise

·         Accounts Payable

·         Accounts Receivable

·         General ledger entries and financial reporting (monthly & quarterly to the board)

·         Bank reconciliation

·         Cash management

·         Prepare documents for accountant for the tax returns and audit

·         Assist with budget development and monitoring

·         Prepare financial reports for committee and board meetings

Maintain Donor Database (currently Giftworks)

·         Data entry

·         Receipting

Maintain good relationship with volunteers and donors

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, & Outlook

Proficiency with Quickbooks

Experience with non-profit accounting

Excellent communication skills

Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines

Able to work full-time schedule with occasional extended hours and weekends as needed
