Flashback Friday - Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award

#FlashbackFriday to when our CEO Sharon Alexander received the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award at Nova Southeastern University on 11/9/17!!

Sharon has guided the growth of Unicorn Children’s Foundation over the last 11 years. One of her first tasks with the foundation was to raise $1 million to establish an Endowed Chair in Developmental and Communications Disorders at Nova Southeastern University to advance research encompassing the entire lifespan and create clinical programs for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Under her leadership, she has transformed the organization from being simply a grant-making organization to being recognized as leaders in the field who are encouraging collaborative and strategic alliances that leverage resources and expand impact in building communities of support, acceptance, and opportunity for children, adults and families living with special needs.
